Worth knowing

Build servers reset more often than standard servers. The wipe log on each entry gives the dates, so check the last wipe column before you start a large design. A short interval between wipes is recorded fact, not a fault: it tells you the canvas is cleared regularly.

Population history here is stored, not just live. A build server that showed a high count a month ago and a low one now is recorded as it happened. Compare the recent entries on each server's page to see whether players stay after a wipe or leave within days.

The tag list is the source for this page. Servers are included on the tag or the name, and excluded if the live check shows them offline. Sort by rank to see which entries the stored data places highest, or by next wipe to see which reset soonest.

What is a Rust build server?

A server tagged Build (^k) or Creative (^c), where resources are free and building is instant. Players use them to plan a base before a wipe. This page lists every such server held in the archive, with its wipe dates and stored population.

Do build servers wipe on a schedule?

Many reset the world every few hours, which clears whatever you built. Others keep a map until the owner wipes it or the force wipe arrives. The wipe log on each entry records the dates, so check the last wipe and next wipe columns before you plan.

Why are build servers listed under Modded?

Free resources and instant building change the game, so Facepunch requires those servers to declare themselves modded. The tag records the classification. It does not mean the server is a cheat server.

How current is the population data on this page?

Live counts are refreshed every five minutes. Stored history keeps earlier counts and wipe dates on each server's page, so you can compare today's population with previous entries. No figure is estimated.
