Primitive Rust servers: the record

An entry is listed here when it is online at the time of refresh and its stored settings name Facepunch's Primitive game mode, which removes firearms. The record keeps its official, community or modded status separately. A server that advertises primitive but runs guns does not meet the definition.

No. The Primitive mode removes firearms, so combat is limited to bows, spears and melee weapons. A server that spawns guns alongside the Primitive tag would contradict the record and is not counted as primitive here.

The wipe log shows most primitive entries either wiping only at the monthly force wipe or following a published schedule; a smaller number wipe irregularly or reset the map every few hours. The last wipe date on each row comes from that log. Where a next wipe is projected rather than published, it is marked as an estimate.

The Primitive mode is not the vanilla difficulty setting, and the record keeps them apart. Some primitive entries are modded, changing gather rates or stack sizes, while the mode still keeps guns out. Check each entry's flags for what it changes.
